We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to provide quality services to people with disabilities, empowering them to live the life they choose.
This role involves providing personal/physical care and support to clients, including grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and assistance with home support, transport, and medication administration.
- Support clients in maintaining an enjoyable, respectful, and safe environment.
- Enable clients to participate successfully in individual interests, hobbies, and relationships in the community.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Disability or Individual Support.
- Strong interpersonal, role modeling, and customer service skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in changing environments.
- Understanding of and commitment to human rights and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
- Awareness of challenges facing individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to transport clients in vehicles across the region.
