Talent Acquisition Strategist

As a Talent Acquisition Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.

This position leads the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of contemporary recruitment best practices, including talent acquisition policies, strategies, and methods, to ensure a pipeline of talent is available to meet current and future resourcing needs.

You will work closely with People Leaders to support the effective delivery of full-life cycle recruitment and selection services, which align with strategic goals and objectives.

The role also enables the organization's Diversity and Inclusion priorities through the development and delivery of Whitehorse's Gender Equality Action Plan, associated responsibilities under the Victorian Gender Equality Act 2020, related talent acquisition practices, and community employment outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Management, or a related discipline, with demonstrated depth of experience in specialist recruitment and talent acquisition across various disciplines and levels.
  • Significant experience in undertaking all facets of recruitment in diverse and client-focused organizations, including volume and specialized roles.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of gender equality legislation and best practices in driving diversity outcomes.
  • Relevant experience and demonstrated competence in research, data analysis, report writing, and communication.
  • Proven expertise in developing strategy, policy, practice, tools, and resources related to talent acquisition/strategic sourcing and recruitment, including employer branding.
