Job Purpose

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a seasoned Logistics Sales Expert to join our Commercial team in Sydney. This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities and converting customers within specific verticals or geographies, leveraging expertise and assets to deliver innovative revenue streams and optimize the logistics value chain.

Key Accountabilities
  • Plan sales activities and set targets for specific verticals and/or geographies
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Generate leads and support vertical-specific pipeline
  • Maintain accurate CRM records
  • Engage regularly with customers through meetings and calls
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver optimal customer outcomes
  • Expand share of wallet through value-add services
  • Identify and grow profitable revenue streams
  • Manage pipeline to meet or exceed financial targets
  • Conduct market research and contribute to product/service innovation
  • Lead commercial proposal development and negotiations
  • Represent the company in marketing events and webinars
Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications
  • 5–8+ years' experience in freight forwarding, particularly in Key Account Management, customer solutions, and operations
  • Proven ability in lead generation and customer relationship development
  • Commercial acumen with strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficient in CRM systems, planning, and reporting
  • Results-driven, organized, and proactive
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer service excellence
