Job Opportunity

Mining supervisors play a crucial role in driving operational excellence while fostering a culture of safety, capability and continuous improvement.

As a leader and mentor, you will oversee a team of 25 operators ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in alignment with production targets.

  • Manage operational resources including personnel, plant and equipment to achieve safety, quality and performance objectives.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and daily interactions to support and engage the workforce.
  • Provide technical and practical support to operators on site.
  • Monitor and drive team performance to meet key KPIs aligned with company goals.
  • Promote a strong safety culture ensuring best practices are followed at all times.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working within a mining and production environment.
  • Demonstrated 2 years' supervisory experience in an operational production environment.
  • Hold relevant qualifications and certifications.
  • Experience in loader and road train haulage operations.
  • Pro-active approach to equipment efficiency and waste reduction.
  • Ability to build win-win relationships with direct and indirect stakeholders.
  • Dynamic leadership style to understand, build and coach teams for success.
