About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urban Infrastructure Planner to join our team in NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, mentoring, coaching, and providing technical guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of professionals, providing technical guidance and support to ensure project success
  • Deliver private sector approvals for a range of projects, utilizing your expertise in statutory planning and approvals
  • Engage with clients to support master planning, precinct planning, and regional planning outcomes, leveraging your knowledge of infrastructure in land use planning
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects that meet client expectations
  • Prepare reports to exceptional technical and editorial standards, showcasing your expertise and attention to detail
  • Manage commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring the success of projects and the growth of our business
  • Develop and maintain key client relationships, building trust and delivering exceptional client experiences

Requirements

  • Experience in NSW undertaking statutory and strategic planning, with a strong understanding of the local planning environment
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in an appropriate field, such as urban planning, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams, with a strong track record of delivering results
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Desire to deliver exceptional client experiences, with a focus on building long-term relationships
  • Current driver's license, with the ability to travel to project sites as required
  • Experience navigating DA's, SSD's, or undertaking strategic planning at precinct or development scale is highly regarded
