Indigenous Arts Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Curator – Indigenous to join our team at Monash University Museum of Art. As a key member of the museum staff, you will play a central role in the development and presentation of artistic, collection, and engagement programs with a focus on projects involving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and associated cultural practitioners.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Australian Indigenous arts sector and a proven track record of delivering high-quality exhibitions, commissions, and collection activity. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. Flexible working arrangements may be negotiated. Please contact MUMA's Director to discuss options.
