Senior Indigenous Curriculum Developer

The Senior Indigenous Curriculum Specialist will be responsible for embedding Indigenous knowledges into RMIT University's academic programs and courses.
With a focus on developing and executing dedicated training, this role will ensure that academic and professional staff develop sufficient capability to handle Indigenous content when working with students.
As a key member of the College's leadership team, you will lead conversations with Deans and other executive-level leaders to create impactful, pedagogically-sound and innovative solutions.
About YouTo be successful in this position, you'll have:
- A high level of capability in curriculum development, assessment or technology-enhanced learning using Indigenous perspectives;
- An understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people;
- A high level ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples;
- Experience with relationship management, consultation, and liaison skills to communicate effectively at all levels;
- The capability and commitment to continue to develop Indigenous perspectives in the curricula;
- Experience in high-level reporting and analysis, with the ability to write and present concisely and effectively;
- Proven organisational and project management skills and the ability to prioritise work, work to deadlines and undertake several parallel projects;
This is an Identified position, and being an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person is considered a 'genuine occupational qualification'.
