Position Summary

We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to become an integral part of our Geelong team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial, administrative, and clerical operations of the Accounts Receivable department. Your leadership will ensure the effective processing and collection of patient accounts and claims, while guiding your team to meet financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payment Processing: Supervise daily reconciliation of payments and guarantee the accurate processing of all financial transactions, including various payment methods.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Evaluate daily billing lists, manage invoicing, and ensure timely follow-up on accounts.
  • Aged Debtors Management: Oversee collection reports and manage collection processes for diverse debtor groups in alignment with financial requirements.
  • Adjustments and Refunds: Assess and monitor refunds, manage the Refund Register, and resolve refund-related matters efficiently.
  • Reporting: Generate daily receipts reports, bank reconciliation data, AR team reports, and monthly Key Result Areas Reports.
  • Customer Service: Assist staff and management with billing inquiries and investigate and resolve customer concerns.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support the Accounts Receivable team, including recruitment, training, and ongoing performance management.

This role is essential in supporting Lake Imaging's operations through your expertise in payment processing, aged debt management, and compliance with relevant regulations.
