Position Summary

We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to enhance our Geelong operations. This role is crucial in directing and managing the financial, administrative, and clerical activities of the Accounts Receivable team. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the effective processing and collection of patient accounts and claims while leading your team towards achieving financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payment Processing: Supervise daily reconciliation of payments and guarantee that all financial transactions, including various payment methods, are processed with precision.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Assess daily billing lists, oversee invoicing, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
  • Management of Aged Debtors: Review collection reports and manage the collection processes for diverse debtor groups in line with financial protocols.
  • Adjustments and Refunds: Evaluate and oversee refunds, manage the Refund Register, and efficiently resolve refund-related matters.
  • Reporting: Generate daily receipts reports, bank reconciliation data, AR team reports, and monthly Key Result Areas Reports.
  • Customer Service: Assist staff and management with billing inquiries and address customer concerns effectively.
  • People Management: Lead and mentor the AR team, including recruitment, training, and ongoing performance evaluation.

This position is integral to supporting Lake Imaging's operational efficiency through your proficiency in payment processing, aged debt management, and compliance with relevant regulations.
