We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at the Department of Parliamentary Services. As a key member of our Network & Security team, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and securing our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure and resilient network infrastructure
- Automate network tasks and analyze data to improve performance and security
- Provide advanced technical support and partner with the Service Desk
- Assist with cyber security threats and data protection strategies
- Oversee technology deployments, relocations, and upgrades
About You:
- Proven experience in the design and management of Cisco technologies
- Strong understanding of relevant security frameworks (e.g., ISM, ASD Essential Eight)
- Proven experience in applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive customer-centred service excellence and continuous improvement
- Strong track record of understanding business needs and identifying and applying appropriate current and emerging technologies to drive business improvements
- Demonstrated well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to communicate across a broad technical and non-technical audience
