Overnight Care Specialist
The Overnight Care Specialist will lead a team of night care workers, ensuring the safety and well-being of young people in care. They will manage nightly operations of residential care homes, providing leadership and supervision to the team.
This role requires effective communication skills, adaptability, and creativity in managing overnight care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead nightly operations of residential care homes
- Provide leadership and supervision to night care workers
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Manage administration and accountability of program planning
- Embed a therapeutic framework by overseeing best practice implementation of children and young people's case management plans
Required Skills and Experience:
- Be a team player with effective collaboration skills
- Possess strong communication skills and active listening
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
- Show creative thinking and a non-judgmental approach
- Hold a driver's license for transporting young people
- Have a minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or an equivalent qualification
