The Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in developing new business and strategic sales for our company. This is a dynamic role that requires a highly motivated individual with excellent organisational, time management, and prioritising skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading a portfolio of accounts, driving new sales opportunities, and supporting national accounts as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet annual sales targets through new business development and existing customers.
  • Prospect for new opportunities through cold calling and generate new customer relationships within the assigned territory.
  • Execute high-level daily face-to-face customer interaction.
  • Grow territory revenue and market share and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop a sales plan that effectively and efficiently covers all accounts/verticals.
  • Manage existing customer accounts and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Experienced at sales forecasting and negotiation skills.
  • Clear understanding of the market and competitors.
  • Experienced with customer & relationship management skills.
  • Ability to uncover clients' needs through a consultative approach.
  • Experienced in lead and funnel management.
  • Excellent communicator, analytical, and problem solver.
  • Sales driven, results-oriented, and a team player.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Tertiary studies in Business, or equivalent business experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry Sales experience in the related industry.
  • Ability to accurately maintain a CRM (Salesforce.com).
  • Experience selling software solutions with hardware will be looked upon favourably.
