
Facilities Liaison Officer

We are seeking a skilled liaison officer to support patient admissions and financial classification across multiple facilities. This position plays a key role in enhancing both patient experience and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities- Support patient admissions and financial classification across facilities.
- Ensure accurate revenue capture by assessing patient eligibility and guiding financial elections.
- Maintain compliance with NSW health policies and support private and compensable patient processes.
- Manage overseas visitor billing and provide education to staff on revenue procedures.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to enhance patient experience and financial outcomes.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to have difficult conversations with patients and families.
- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster with flexibility.
- Accurate word processing and competent use of Microsoft Office and electronic patient records.
- Ability to work independently and problem solve with limited guidance.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Ability to write clear and accurate documentation and correspondence.
- Ability to apply financial classifications and NSW revenue-related policies.
