Job Description

The role of Yard Hand/Vehicle Coordinator plays a crucial part in our setup, based out of our South Melbourne Hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the business has vehicles readily available to customers via various product lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all vehicles are cleaned and fueled/charged prior to being handed over to customers.
  • Control cars onsite at the depot, maintaining a neat and tidy carpark area.
  • Movement of vehicles to and from specified locations as required.
  • Completion of inspection photos for vehicles (inbound, outbound).
  • Inspect and review accident repaired vehicles.
  • Organise the depot at the end of each day, ensuring vehicles are parked appropriately and securely.
  • Assist stakeholders with vehicle pick-ups - service, accident repairs.
  • Receive and prepare new vehicles (installation of telematic devices).
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A full driver's license, valid to drive in Australia.
  • Comfortable commuting and working out of our South Melbourne Hub.
  • Intermediate level computer skills.
  • A strong can-do attitude, demonstrating ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Mechanical aptitude or reasonable understanding of motor vehicles (desirable).
