Job Profile

This role is focused on operating folder gluer machines to produce high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have experience working with similar equipment and be able to troubleshoot mechanical issues.

Main Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate folder gluer machines, including Bobst, Jagenberg, Omega, or similar models.
  • Run various folding jobs, such as straight-line, auto-lock bottom, 4/6 corner, and specialty folds.
  • Adjust glue systems for consistent, high-quality application.
  • Monitor production runs, perform in-process inspections, and ensure product quality.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance.
Required Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience operating folder gluer equipment in a packaging or converting environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including the ability to set up, adjust, and perform minor repairs.
  • Familiarity with substrates like paperboard and corrugate.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment.
