Job Opportunity: Folder Gluer Machine Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to operate folder gluer machines in a production environment.

  • Set up and operate folder gluer machines (Bobst, Jagenberg, Omega, or similar) to produce high-quality products
  • Adjust glue systems (cold glue, hot melt) for consistent, high-quality application
  • Monitor production runs, perform in-process inspections, and ensure product quality
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance on folder gluer machines
  • Follow job specifications and meet daily production targets
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve common goals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience operating folder gluer equipment in a packaging or converting environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up, adjust, and perform minor repairs
  • Familiarity with substrates like paperboard and corrugate
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a production environment
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills
