Job Overview

The Head of Performance Reporting and Improvement will lead performance reporting obligations and the provision of insights. This includes responsibility for the development and delivery of methodologies and practices that drive business improvement.

About the Team

This role sits within a division, leading a team that provides a comprehensive view of business performance by creating and distributing reports, dashboards, and insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver performance statements
  • Ensure adherence to performance frameworks supporting corporate plans and organisational visibility
  • Develop and deliver reports to governance committees and regulatory bodies on performance reporting
  • Identify opportunities to reduce duplication and increase productivity through centralising reporting insights
  • Share insights and expertise from strategic direction on performance reporting to leads
  • Foster a culture of ownership and accountability for outcomes across the organisation and develop processes to support monitoring of enterprise performance
  • Advocate for and develop process improvement methodologies, focusing on principles

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent management skills, including experience with change management and adaptability
  • Knowledge of business models and demonstrable skills in embedding these within organisations; experience in Lean-Six Sigma is valued
  • Process modelling and mapping experience
  • Able to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams
  • Experience in leading and delivering corporate reporting and developing supporting processes
  • Able to think strategically about performance reporting frameworks and translate proposals into concrete plans for delivery
  • Highly developed communication skills with an ability to establish and maintain sound working relationships at all levels
