Business Performance And Improvement Lead

Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium comprising of industry leading Tier 1 organisations - John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. Sydney Water has partnered with D4C to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services across their southern region - from Bondi to Gerringong, and out to Georges River.

D4C is seeking a Business Performance and Improvement Lead to join our dynamic, diverse and high performing team in an exciting time of growth. We need your skills and expertise to help Sydney Water deliver a $34 billion dollar program over the next 10 years to build, maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources.

**Primary Purpose**

As the Business Performance & Improvement Lead at D4C, you'll manage a portfolio of high value Business Performance & Improvement initiatives (design and implementation) ensuring D4C's processes, systems, and data-led delivery strategies remain future ready and industry leading.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Work closely with senior management and our Client to understand and manage BAU and business improvement priorities and constraints in line with the D4C Business Plan
- Gain a deep understanding of business risks and opportunities, and develop the Business Performance & Improvement Plan(s) in alignment with Senior Leadership Team expectations and oversight, to ensure optimal program outcomes are achieved
- Scope, identify and provide recommendations and drive business improvement projects, working closely with the Operations, Business Support and Technology leaders and teams to drive and champion change
- Regularly report and present status of business improvement initiatives to senior management and Client
- Drive the KPI framework by leveraging existing comprehensive Power BI reporting/dashboards to develop and implement business improvement plans
- Provide advice and guidance on KPI framework to functional and operational teams
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team and other key stakeholders to ensure business performance and improvement strategies align with overall business objectives
- Foster open communication and collaboration across teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful outcomes
- Develop thorough understanding of KPI framework, performance metrics and NEC4 contract requirements in the context of business performance
- Perform ongoing comprehensive performance analysis, with a focus on Safety, Community, Environment, Quality, Time, Cost, Self-Perform, and Maintenance Performance

**Essential**:

- Masters degree in Business, or Project or Program Management qualification (MSP)
- Proven experience in leading Business Performance & Improvement teams, ideally in large scale infrastructure programs
- Strong change management skills and ability to bring people on the journey
- Good understanding of systems development/implementation process and managing the interface between Operations, Project Controls and Technology
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills for lead and lag trend analysis. Experience working with Power BI, InEight, P6 will be highly regarded
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience working with both Contractor and Client side highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and ability to zoom in and out as required
