
Business Performance Improvement Specialist

This role is a key part of the Finance team responsible for providing financial insights to support business growth.
The primary focus of this role is to partner with members of our executive team in driving improvements in business performance through data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with members of the executive team to provide regular reporting and ad hoc analysis
- Manage the month end process, ensuring accuracy and timely release of financial results
- Lead the forecasting and budgeting process for allocated departments and teams
- Partner with the technology team to manage capital expenditures, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment and budget adherence
- Prepare intangible reporting notes for statutory accounts and respond to audit queries
- Develop business cases to support investment in initiatives and growth opportunities
- Provide reporting on intangible costs and associated business benefits
- Identify and implement continuous improvements across finance processes
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information.
Requirements:- University degree from a recognized institution
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in finance related functions or commercial finance
- Demonstrated capability in problem solving, modeling, and attention to detail
- Commercial acumen and ability to communicate complex financial information concisely
- Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders and influence with strong communication skills
- Track record of delivering results and identifying opportunities for growth
- Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
