Nurse - Resident Care Specialist

Your responsibilities will involve providing essential nursing care and support to residents in accordance with our core values. You will play a crucial role under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide positive resident outcomes.
- Personal Care: Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
- Medication Administration: Administering medications as prescribed by the physician and ensuring proper documentation of medication records.
- Health Monitoring: Observing and recording residents' vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in their health condition.
- Wound Care: Providing basic wound care and dressing changes for residents with minor wounds.
- Assessment and Reporting: Conducting health assessments and reporting any changes in residents' health to the supervising RN or healthcare team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current AHPRA registration.
- Knowledge of aged care accreditation standards.
- An adaptable and passionate approach to learning.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
