Business Development Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to lead our SME and Small Business portfolio across the region.

About the Role:

  • Drive business growth by developing strategic plans and leveraging key relationships to expand our presence in the market
  • Foster a culture of innovation and risk awareness, ensuring compliance and championing a customer-centric approach
  • Recruit, lead and inspire high-performing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and business outcomes
  • Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships to influence outcomes and lead strategic initiatives across the organization

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach senior leaders to enhance customer conversations, ensuring customer needs are met while promoting growth and success
  • Champion initiatives that improve the customer journey and eliminate pain points across channels
  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share and increase customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Proven success in a sales leadership role with evidence of business growth, market expansion and team development
  • Deep understanding of business lending, with expertise in end-to-end origination and credit risk management
  • Strategic thinking and execution skills to deliver on key metrics such as NPS, customer growth and deposit performance
  • A passion for recruiting and developing high-performing teams, creating career pathways and driving collaborative success
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a track record of driving cross-functional initiatives
