Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanic

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Mechanic to join our dedicated maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles, including trucks, floats, light vehicles, and construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy and compliant with safety standards
  • Collaborate with supervisors and suppliers to maintain fleet efficiency and availability
  • Support roadworthy inspections and complete service documentation accurately
  • Undertake both workshop-based and site servicing (field service)
  • Promote WHS compliance and contribute to safety-focused pre-start/toolbox meetings

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' post-trade experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
  • Background in civil, mining, transport, or agricultural environments is highly regarded
  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  • Current Driver's Licence - (HR or HC desirable)
  • White Card
