We are seeking a qualified Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to support the maintenance and reliability of our fleet.

This full-time role will see you working across a wide range of equipment including heavy earthmoving machinery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out regular maintenance, field servicing, fault finding, and repairs to ensure project success and safety.
  • Working within established rules and regulations at all times.
  • Liaising with direct managers, supervisors, and team members daily.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in plant and truck fleet equipment.
  • Maintaining high standards of service and maintenance.
  • Adepting and continuing with efficiency initiatives to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Assisting with planning and maintaining service schedules.
  • Coordinating with suppliers sourcing parts on quality and price.
  • Maintaining company tools and equipment.

You will be required to have:

  • Fully qualified with at least 2 years' experience as a qualified Plant or Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
  • Solid understanding of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension systems.
  • Knowledge of basic auto electrical systems.
  • Competence with digital diagnostics.
  • An outstanding work ethic and commitment to delivering results.
  • A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to demonstrate flexibility and apply learnings to improve processes.
  • Action-focused and result-driven team player who quickly comes up to speed on tasks.
