Job Overview
The role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Comprehensive contract management, which involves preparing, assessing, and overseeing the tender and proposal processes. This includes general tender documentation, pricing submissions, negotiations, and reviews of terms and conditions.
- Evaluating modifications to standard terms and conditions and crafting responses to mitigate risks and liabilities while striving for favorable commercial results.
- Ensuring the integrity of active contracts, which may involve managing variations, claims, supplier performance assessments, and pricing evaluations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end contract management, particularly with mobile and/or fixed plant equipment packages.
- Familiarity with both operational and project-based contracts, with a solid understanding of the distinct requirements of each, will be advantageous.
- Experience in the mining sector is preferred but not mandatory.
