Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives within our Commercial and Operations Domains. This role combines strong skills in data analysis with deep business acumen, working closely with technical and business teams to define KPIs, business rules, and data solutions.

The mission of this role is to maximize the value of data assets by enabling informed decision-making, driving business growth, and improving program outcomes. Working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, the Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for aligning initiatives with business goals, driving discovery, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytics solutions.

This is a full-time opportunity, based at our head office, with flexible hybrid working arrangements.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead discovery efforts to understand needs (business rules, metrics, and KPIs) and translate them into actionable analytics and data requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business units and other data product leads to define supporting data products and semantic layers.
  • Elicit, define, document, and model requirements (business, product, functional, and non-functional), and processes (as-is, to-be) using effective business analysis techniques and tools.
  • Facilitate Agile work practices such as sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, reporting, and retrospectives to drive delivery of cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as a trusted data advisor to stakeholders, supporting strategic and operational use of finance data.
  • Support the creation of business semantic layers to streamline access to trusted data for reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments and leading cross-functional data delivery teams.
  • Experience creating detailed BRD, HLD, and LLD artefacts to support project execution.
  • Understanding of data testing, reference data management, and data quality practices.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud data platforms will be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with ERP, EPM, and DBT for transforming and modeling data will be beneficial.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements will be advantageous.
  • Experience using Power BI for dashboard development and analytics delivery will be advantageous.
