Job SummaryWe are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in providing high-quality support services to our participants. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting participants with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility. You will work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) or SDA environment, helping participants to develop their skills and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualised support to participants with complex care needs, including personal care, mobility, and daily living activities.
- Assist participants with medication management, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Develop and implement individualised support plans to promote participant independence and self-advocacy.
- Collaborate with other support workers and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in disability support or a related field.
- Current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Orientation, COVID Infection Control, NDIS Workers Screening, Working with Children Check, and National Police Check.
- Current Open Driver's Licence (mandatory).
- Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster, including overnight shifts and weekends.
