Senior Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Design Engineer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and technically competent individual who can work independently as well as collaborate within a multi-disciplinary environment.

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of concept and detailed civil design and documentation on a diverse range of projects, while taking responsibility for their own projects and expanding their portfolio.

About the Role
  • Liaise with key stakeholders as necessary to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Produce, review and check designs in accordance with relevant design standards and codes.
  • Deliver design calculations, reports and drawings under limited supervision.
  • Provide civil engineering design service to clients as necessary.
  • Mentor junior team members to help them grow professionally.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree in civil engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years post-graduate engineering consultancy experience.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Familiarity and/or experience with preferred software packages.
  • Road design in accordance with Austroads and best practice. Geometric design and pavement engineering.
  • 12d experience is highly desired.
