Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for civil engineering design and documentation to take on a variety of projects, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.


Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with key stakeholders as necessary to ensure successful project delivery
  • Produce, review and check designs in accordance with relevant standards and codes
  • Deliver design calculations, reports and drawings under limited supervision
  • Provide civil engineering design services to clients as required
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment to achieve project goals
  • Prepare project briefs, scopes of work and fees
  • Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Engineering degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years post-graduate engineering consultancy experience is desirable
  • A self-motivated, technically competent individual able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills are essential
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software packages such as DRAINS, MUSIC, AutoCAD and AutoTrack is preferred
  • Road design expertise in accordance with Austroads and best practice, including geometric design and pavement engineering
  • Experience with 12d is highly valued
