Job Overview

A Senior Civil Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and delivering civil engineering projects.


Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
  • Develop, review, and verify designs in accordance with relevant design standards and codes.
  • Create design calculations, reports, and drawings under limited supervision.
  • Provide civil engineering design services as required.
  • Contribute to a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment to achieve project objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • An engineering degree in civil engineering is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years post-graduate engineering consultancy experience is preferred.
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, technically competent individual able to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with or experience using DRAINS, MUSIC, AutoCAD, and AutoTrack software packages is beneficial.
  • Road design experience in accordance with Austroads and best practice is necessary.
