Based in Wollongong with the opportunity for remote work, you will be involved in all aspects of concept and detailed civil design and documentation on diverse projects, taking responsibility for your projects and expanding your portfolio.
As the Senior Civil Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders; Ensuring successful project delivery; Producing, reviewing, and checking designs in accordance with relevant standards and codes; Delivering design calculations, reports, and drawings with limited supervision; Providing civil engineering design services to clients as needed; Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment; Preparing project briefs, scopes of work, and fee proposals; Mentoring junior team members.
Your Experience Will Include: An engineering degree in civil engineering; Ideally a minimum of 5 years post-graduate engineering consultancy experience; A self-motivated, technically competent individual capable of working independently and in a team; Excellent communication and report-writing skills; Familiarity with software packages such as DRAINS, MUSIC, Auto CAD, and Auto Track; Road design experience in accordance with Austroads and best practices, including geometric design and pavement engineering; Experience with 12d is highly desirable.
