Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personalized support to customers with disabilities, helping them achieve their life goals and live independently.
  • Assisting customers with daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering, and toileting.
  • Supporting customers in recreational activities, promoting social inclusion and community engagement.
  • Ensuring positive behavior support plans are followed, and collaborating with customers to achieve their desired outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Certification in Individual Support (CHC33015 or CHC33021).
  • Previous experience in supporting customers with mental health concerns and manual handling.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends, and adhere to a 62-hour fortnight roster.
  • Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties, while maintaining confidentiality and respect for customers' boundaries.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
