Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to clients with their daily living activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care, such as assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks.
  • Supporting mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking, and positioning.
  • Assisting with medication administration and monitoring health conditions as directed.
  • Providing emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversation, and participating in activities to enhance the client's quality of life.
  • Assisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a personal care role or similar environment.
  • Certification III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • A current First Aid Certificate.
