Job Title:

Lifeguard - Aquatic Facility

We are seeking a Lifeguard to join our team on a casual basis. This position will report to the Head Swimming Coach and will be responsible for ensuring the safety and supervision of members and guests using our aquatic facilities.

This role involves performing a range of duties associated with the usage and maintenance of aquatic facilities to ensure the safe and orderly behaviour of patrons and the clean, hygienic, and safe condition of all facilities. This may include basic administration duties when there are no patrons in the pool.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the safety of members and guests using the aquatic facilities
  • Supervising and maintaining order within the pool area
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all facilities
  • Performing basic administration duties as required

Requirements:

Nationally Recognised Qualifications:
  • Lifeguard qualification
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Pool Operations Certificate

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong focus on safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in an aquatic / leisure / or sport environment
  • Experience in a safety and/or education setting
