Job Opportunity

The Senior Aquatic Programs Manager will play a pivotal role in the strategic development and growth of the aquatic programs at the North Sydney Olympic Pool.

As part of the NSOP team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective aquatic programs and creche operations, ensuring seamless integration with Council standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage high-performing teams, providing exceptional service to learn to swim and pool users.

You will oversee the NSOP creche, swim school, and squad teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

With a passion for the swim school and aquatic industries, you will thrive on new challenges related to building your department and facilities.

You will also ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children engaged in activities operated by NSOP.

As a senior leader, you will develop and lead a cohesive and motivated team, driving results-oriented performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for aquatic programs and creche operations.
  • Lead and manage high-performing teams, including the NSOP creche, swim school, and squad teams.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, promoting collaborative outcomes.
  • Contribute towards the operation of a world-class leisure and aquatic centre, delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in leadership and management roles within the swim school and aquatic industries.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead high-performing teams, driving results-oriented performance.
  • In-depth knowledge or understanding of OCG Child Safe policies and procedures.
  • Ability to think innovatively and work collaboratively to achieve best practice outcomes.
