Logistics Operations Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and timely delivery of our product range. This role involves managing load schedules, staging loads for carriers, and maintaining compliance with all relevant industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate safe and efficient yard operations, including vehicle load staging, storage management, and movement of vans in and out of the facility.
  • Liaise daily with transport contractors to manage and schedule interstate deliveries across Australia.
  • Raise and manage daily purchase orders for transport services, ensuring cost control and service compliance.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate, real-time inventory records.
  • Investigate and report incidents, suggest improvements.
  • Follow process for damage claims from the dealer network.
  • Work closely with internal departments to align transport logistics for marketing campaigns, nationwide events, warranty returns, and intercompany vehicle transfers.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a current forklift licence and full driver's licence. You should have extensive hands-on experience operating forklifts to safely load, unload and maneuver high-value assets with precision and care. Proven ability to maintain organisation and solve problems in fast-paced environments is also essential.
