Logistics Operations Coordinator

This role requires a skilled logistics professional to oversee the coordination of logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with third-party logistics providers to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Train and upskill Logistics Coordinators on logistics tools and systems, and develop clear, easy-to-follow process documentation.
  • Reconcile freight and warehousing invoices, and create effective invoice checking processes across both international and domestic carriers.
  • Manage the logistics inbox and ensure all incoming queries are responded to promptly and accurately.
  • Perform and oversee key logistics administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Lead regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders to resolve logistics issues and drive operational alignment.
  • Implement agreed process improvements across internal departments to boost efficiency and performance.
  • Support the Logistics Management Team with the rollout and execution of new projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide input into freight and warehousing cost analysis, and assist in tender processes.
Requirements:
  • University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or similar).
  • Experienced in logistics operations, ideally within eCommerce, retail, or a high-volume supply chain environment. Familiarity with International Freight will be highly regarded.
  • Skilled at working with third-party logistics providers, with a focus on relationship management and operational improvement.
  • Process-oriented and detail-driven, with a strong ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
  • Comfortable reconciling invoices and managing financial processes with accuracy and diligence.
  • A natural communicator who thrives in collaborative environments and knows how to engage stakeholders.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Confident using logistics systems and tools, and capable of training others in best practices.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement, with a mindset that's always looking for ways to optimise and enhance how things are done.
