Logistics Operations Coordinator Job Description

The role of Logistics Operations Coordinator involves overseeing the day-to-day activities of the transportation team to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced logistics or operations environment and possess excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on daily load plan development/changes, ensuring timely arrival and departure of trailers.
  • Coordinate with carriers and their contacts for any site-related escalations on carrier pickups and delivery issues.
  • Establish and communicate daily yard plans to NOC, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff members.
  • Develop and generate daily, weekly, monthly reports to support business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics or operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 kilos, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
