About This Role

Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Midwife to join our dynamic birth suite. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality midwifery care to expectant mothers and their families.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled midwife who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, providing evidence-based care and excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver midwifery care that is respectful, compassionate, and safe.
  2. Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  3. Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
  4. Supervise and support junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a maternity setting.
  • Special Care Nursery experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
