Job Overview

The role of Settlements Specialist requires expertise in Austraclear and Fixed Income settlements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Fixed Income DVP and cash trade settlements in Austraclear.
  • Monitor Austraclear functions throughout the settlement day, identifying issues and resolving them promptly.
  • Reconcile and fund Fixed Income Currency accounts accurately and on time.
  • Escalate failing or unmatched trades.
  • Liaise with traders, confirmation teams, internal stakeholders, and external clients.

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience with Austraclear and Fixed Income settlements is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A control and risk-focused approach to work.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
