Job Title: Trading Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our trading operations team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing digital asset and fiat related trade settlement, communicating with internal and external trading counterparties, and ensuring timely and accurate settlements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage digital asset and fiat related trade settlement and communicate with internal and external trading counterparties to ensure timely and accurate settlements.
  • Reconcile trades from post-trade to settlement to ensure correct and timely settlement.
  • Monitor treasury and liaise with trading and finance teams on accounting for asset balances across operations.
  • Liaise internally with the wider trading, OTC, and options teams on balances and settlement status, and provide administrative and client communication support where needed.
  • Add new banking beneficiaries and support trading desks with fiat transfers and settlements.
  • Track and alert internal and external clients on margin and net open positions, and liaise with clients on transfer of assets to maintain margin thresholds.
  • Identify and report technical and financial problems and work with the dev team to improve processes and automate tasks.
  • Manage internal operations ticketing processes and work with trading teams to streamline and improve these.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year of prior trading and/or trading operations experience, preferably in crypto assets.
  • Experience working in a crypto environment with clearing/settlement within cutoff times.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, etc.
  • Familiarity with Python and SQL languages and experience querying database trade data and generating reports and dashboards is an added bonus.
