Job Overview

A dedicated Trading Operations Specialist will become a core part of the APAC based trading operations team, working closely with our trading, treasury and wider operations teams during APAC trading hours.

  • The primary goal is to ensure timely and accurate settlements of digital asset and fiat related trades by communicating effectively with internal and external trading counterparties.
  • To achieve this, Trade Reconciliation from post trade to settlement must be done correctly and on time to guarantee correct and timely settlement.
  • Maintaining accurate records of the treasury involves liaising with the trading and finance teams to account for asset balances across various operations.
  • Liaising internally with the wider trading, OTC and options teams on balances and settlement status provides administrative and client communication support where necessary.
  • Asset rebalancing and whitelisting of crypto addresses across multiple CEXs and DEXs; across multiple platforms requires effective management.
  • Managing new banking beneficiaries supports trading desks with fiat transfers and settlements. Liaising with banks' account managers on confirming cut-off times, fees and any troubleshooting of banking services ensures seamless transactions.
  • Monitoring and alerting internal and external client margin and net open positions necessitates liaison with clients on transfer of assets to maintain margin thresholds.
  • Tracking and reporting technical and financial problems enables support to the dev team for improvements and automating processes.
  • Project managing internal operations ticketing processes involves working with trading teams to streamline and improve these.
  • Oversight of collecting, documenting and organizing external counterparty FX and OTC related trade data facilitates cost tracking and best execution analysis.
