Fixed Income Settlements Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our operations team as a Fixed Income Settlements Specialist. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the settlement of Fixed Income DVP and cash trades via Austraclear.

  • Critical Role: Coordinate and execute Fixed Income DVP and cash trade settlements in Austraclear, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Austraclear Expertise: Monitor Austraclear functions throughout the settlement day, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile and fund Fixed Income Currency accounts accurately and on time, escalating failing or unmatched trades.
  • Intercompany Settlements: Reconcile and facilitate intercompany settlements, liaising regularly with traders, confirmation teams, internal stakeholders, and external clients.
Requirements
  • Experience with Austraclear and Fixed Income settlements is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Risk-focused approach to work.
