Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Process Safety Expert.

About the Role

This key position will be responsible for leading the assessment of Safety Case submissions from major hazard facilities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

  • Provide expert guidance to operators of major hazard facilities to enhance their safety performance by identifying areas for improvement and developing practical strategies and education.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop new or improved procedures for the regulatory duties of the major hazards team in a constructive, accountable, transparent, and effective manner.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exemplary communication and organizational skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • A deep passion for health and safety, coupled with a strong commitment to excellence.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills to foster strong relationships and drive results.

Candidates should hold tertiary qualifications and/or possess significant equivalent experience in the field.
