We are seeking a skilled waterway safety expert to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about preventing aquatic related death and injury across Victorian communities.

We are committed to water safety and lifesaving, working with industry partners to promote safe practices in inland waterways.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will report to the Manager - Aquatic Services and be responsible for delivering aquatic risk management services that meet the needs of the aquatics industry. This role will support the activities of both Life Saving Victoria and Royal Life Saving Society Australia, focusing on waterway safety and quality management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a degree qualification (or equivalent experience) in business or a related field, with senior experience in aquatic facility management and operations. You will also need technical skills including:

  • A current Initiate, Lead and Report on a Quality Audit qualification (or similar)
  • Knowledge of quality, environmental, and health and safety management systems and applicable standards
  • A Lead Auditor Qualification and certification in Health and Safety and/or Quality Management
