Responsibilities include proactively managing caseloads of worker's compensation claims within SA legislation and compliance guidelines.

This is a Full-time permanent position based in the Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers, and providers.
  • Deliver personalized face-to-face assistance to Seriously Injured Workers.
  • Pro-actively proceed with appropriate case management for Seriously Injured Workers, aimed at their independence, quality of life, and return to work.
  • Ensure case management is in accordance with SA legislation and compliance guidelines.
  • Pro-actively manage rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans in accordance with EML's guidelines and agreed department and Return to Work SA standards.

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 AUD, depending on experience.

About You:

  • Knowledge of relevant worker's compensation legislation and regulations would be beneficial.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology is advantageous.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Sound negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Empathy and understanding for others.
  • The ability to effectively listen and understand the needs of the customer and what is important to them to enable their recovery and return to work.
