EML, a leading Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Claims Management business, offers a challenging opportunity as a Claims Processor in our Adelaide office.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to manage whole person impairment (WPI) claims, providing early, timely, and personalized support to stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for determining permanent impairment claims within set targets and KPIs, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and assessing aspects of liability and recovery relevant to legislation or policy.
  • This is a permanent, full-time position with flexibility to work from home once fully trained.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage and determine permanent impairment claims within set targets and KPIs.
  • Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders regularly to progress strategies and actions.
  • Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policy, in accordance with EML procedures.
  • Proactively manage rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans/wellness plans.
  • Conduct health promotion activities to enhance the injured worker's wellbeing and empower them to participate in their own treatment and recovery.

About You:

  • You have high attention to detail with strong mathematical competence for calculations to clearly communicate complex ideas.
  • You are customer-focused and resilient, with the ability to adapt quickly and overcome challenges faced.
  • You have basic understanding of common medical terminology or allied health experience.
  • You may also have knowledge of the relevant workers' compensation legislation and regulations.
