About the Role

Business Development Manager Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading energy provider in New South Wales. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering tailored value propositions for commercial and industrial customers.

You will build and maintain long-term partnerships, identify and commercialise opportunities that align with both customer and business objectives, and work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver impactful services that support large energy consumers on their journey through the energy transition.

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic account plans for Commercial & Industrial customers, focusing on reliability, sustainability, and future energy needs.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships, acting as a strategic advisor and primary point of contact while proactively identifying new opportunities.
  • Collaborate across internal teams to co-design tailored solutions, resolve escalations, and deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Provide customer insights and market intelligence to leadership, supporting strategic planning, innovation, and process improvements.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, engaging with key external stakeholders to position the company as a trusted partner in the energy transition.
About You

We are looking for a commercially savvy relationship builder with proven experience in strategic account management, strong communication skills, and a passion for driving customer value through the energy transition.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years' experience in strategic account management, preferably in the energy or utilities sector, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or Engineering.
