The role involves maintaining policies and procedures, managing hazards and incidents, and coordinating wellbeing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert WHS advice, training, education, and engagement with stakeholders
  • Manage WHS representatives, including Fire Wardens and First Aid Officers
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and report on WHS and wellbeing activities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and business policies
  • Undertake other duties as directed

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant WHS legislation and risk management principles
  • Experience in delivering WHS and wellbeing services, including policy development and implementation
  • Well-developed research, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Tertiary qualification in work health and safety or minimum five years' experience in WHS position
  • Australian citizenship and residency in Perth, Western Australia
