We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) specialist to join our team. As an HSE specialist - audit, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct on-site audits to verify adherence to regulatory requirements, group documents, and site-specific policies.
- Undertake desktop audits at a corporate level to assess comprehensive auditing practices.
- Review and audit investigation actions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide assurance to management on governance and auditing practices to validate compliance.
- Prepare and disseminate regular HSE performance reports to stakeholders.
- Hold qualifications in Health, Safety, or Environment, with formal auditing certifications.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of operational risk management principles.
- Be willing to travel to various locations as required.
- Bring prior experience in auditing HSE systems and programs, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
