Seeking a Compost Operator to maintain optimal performance of our composting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, tractors, windrow turners, mowers, and utility vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
  • Construct and manage compost windrows, turning them as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Carry out general site maintenance tasks, including cleaning work areas, maintaining records, and monitoring windrow temperatures.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations throughout the composting process.
  • Work in an outdoor environment with exposure to varying weather conditions and potentially hazardous materials.

About You:

  • You are self-motivated, positive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You follow policies and procedures, including Food Safety and Health and Safety guidelines.
  • You communicate effectively and respectfully with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Australian work authorization.
  • Ability to commute or relocate to Cobbitty, NSW 2570.
